The Saddlery-British Code of
ConductWhen buying online you should ensure that you are using a reputable
company and that your rights are protected. You should make yourself aware of
the Office of Fair Trading regulations which cover buying online, details of which
can be found at: http://www.oft.gov.uk When
you buy your saddle from us we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.
In accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations
2000 we make the following promises to you: Cancellation
If, for any reason, you need to cancel your order you may do so by filling
out the contact form within
5 days of placing the order. Please quote the reference number given to
you on your order confirmation.
Cancellations will be subject to a 5%
processing fee, which is due to bank charges on the card payment and subsequent
refund. Returns
Because your order is individually made to
your specifications to fit only your horse it is not possible to return goods
to stock. However the purpose of our tailor-made saddles is that both you and
your horse are comfortable and so if the specification is slightly out in some
way, please let us know and in most cases we will be able to modify your saddle
to fit better.
Modifications need to be assessed on an individual basis so if you are
worried in any way that the fit is incorrect please tell us by using the
contact form and we will
give you an estimate for the corrective work.
Under no circumstances
should you use an ill-fitting saddle as this could cause permanent damage to your
horse. We will not be held responsible for such damage caused to horse, rider
or saddle, because of incorrect specification. Please note that if you have
to return your saddle for modification through incorrect specification, carriage
to and from our workshop will be payable by you. Defective Materials
Your
goods should be free from defect and fit for the purpose intended.
In the unlikely event that there is a problem with the materials or workmanship
of your saddle in any way then please let us know through the contact
form and we will issue you with a returns number. Please note that
the saddle will be returned to us at your expense, however if upon inspection
at our workshop it proves to be faulty then we will replace your saddle
free of charge.
Your
statutory rights are not affected. Performance
Delivery will
be 4-6 weeks from receipt of orders, excluding UK holidays. If, for any reason,
we are not able to deliver within this period then we will contact you to agree
the revised delivery date. Privacy
We will never pass on your
details to any third party and any information will be held in accordance with
the Data Protection Act 1998. Security and Credit Card Transactions
When you enter your credit card details you are doing so on a secure
server. None of your credit card details are retained on our server.
Export
If you are buying from outside the United Kingdom please
contact us prior to your order and we will give you a price for delivery
to your door.
Please note that any import duties and taxes will be payable
by you on arrival in your country. Complaints
Because we want
to offer you the best service possible, if you are dissatisfied in any way at
all then we want to know about it. Any complaints will be acknowledged within
5 days giving details of the contact within our organisation who is dealing with
